TDI 2013
TDI testing at TFKC
When people are in distress, it's sometimes easier to talk to a pet rather than another person. Certified Therapy Dogs help ease stress, anxiety and provide relief in situations that are often overwhelming and confusing for children and adults. With the demand for Therapy Dogs at an all time high, the new standards set by Therapy Dogs International are justifiably rigorous. Club member and TDI (Therapy Dogs International) evaluator Lauren Friedman, with the help of Chris Sweetwood, Laura Wells, Ron Egidio, Sarah Murphy and some young assistants put dogs and handlers through their paces during TDI testing at Apple Rehab in Shelton CT.
